Being in the 10th edition, EXCON is keen to explore the current relationship between infrastructure as a sector and its inclusion of women in the workplace. EXCON hopes to initiate a dialogue on how women can be engaged in a traditionally male driven sector through a special initiative launched this year titled, ?Women Building India?. The inaugural session of Excon 2019 will celebrate women in infrastructure by introducing Women Building India - Equal Opportunity Awards to recognise companies from the infrastructure sector who have taken proactive steps to enable women to participate in the workforce.

A report titled ?Women in Infrastructure? will also be released to uncover the current status of women participation in the sector and best practices that can enable the sector to include more women as it continues to grow. As part of the 10th year celebrations of EXCON, CII will be organising special activities like exclusive pavilions on AI, IoT, Robotics, Startups, and Components and Parts, among others.

Coinciding with EXCON, CII will organise a series of conferences and seminars like, Defence & Paramilitary, MSMEs, Components & Parts, Green Buildings, Smart Cities, Urban Development, and Logistics among others.
