According to IDEMA, the government has concluded on what the next emission norms should be. Now it has to issue a gazette notification to this effect, which is expected within two years. The new emission standards mandates diesel with a maximum sulphur level of 10 ppm. There is a push for new projects in infrastructure sector, especially roads, and mining.
