Combo X70 Anavant-Garde Mobile Washing System
The new Combo X70 washing system launched by CED Asia integrates all washing process from end to end in compact mobile unit.

The Combo X70 is an absolute ?saver? as it recycles 90 per cent of the water required to run a plant back into its washing cycle. Therefore, Combo uses a fresh supply of meagre ~10 cu m water per hour as opposed to traditional systems consuming 10-15 times more water. This is what makes the Combo the most ?eco-friendly? sand washing system anywhere in the world. The other ?BIG? multiplier is low power consumption - at just 80 kW max power rating - Combo X70 is the most power efficient clean energy machine, elevating the ?green? quotient of material washing business to a different level. An intelligent remote monitoring platform is also onboard the Combo X70. This platform enables real time measurement of critical functions, storage of equipment usage data for accurate diagnosis during service calls, and broadcast of user warnings for preventive/service requirement. The tailored system assists users in getting maximum plant performance with minimum downtime.

Manish Madhogaria, Associate Director, CDE Asia said, ?This new system opens up the opportunity of washing sand for a large number of companies that required integrated mobile systems portable to their geographical needs. This new generation of plants will allow operators to maximise quality without compromising the commercial value associated with washed sand products. As a by-product of this development, unprecedented efficiencies have been synthesised in the concrete production business.?

The Combo system is applied in the washing of a wide range of materials including crushed rock fines, natural sand, sand and gravel, road planings, scalpings, road sweepings, gully waste and surface dressing material. The technology allows for maximisation of in-situ material recovery and re-use.

A feeding system inputs the feed material into the washing unit, which effectively removes excess -75 micron fraction from the feed material. The material is then forwarded on to the dewatering unit, which simultaneously delivers ?two? washed, dewatered, and well-graded sand products - ?concrete sand? and ?masonry sand?- via integrated stockpile conveyors. Wasted water from the system is transferred to the inbuilt recycling unit, where the solids are separated from the water. The recycled water is circulated back into the plant and minimal waste is removed from the recycling unit in the form of highly concentrated sludge.

Combo range?s new modular design, the mobile Combo X70,ensures rapid deployment and minimal plant footprint. This innovative path-breaking design has been developed at the R&D Centre of CDE, located at both Northern Ireland and India. Devendra Jain, Managing Director of Dilip Buildcon commented, ?Combo X70 appears to be an engineering marvel in today?s sand washing industry. Its technological brilliance has been proved in many of our varied applications and we have replaced all traditional sand washing technology such as bucket wheels or screw classifiers with Combo X70, due to its ability to effectively remove only the excessive minus 75 micron fines from the crushed rock material. Today, we are proud owners of multiple units of the most advanced sand washing technology in the world, the premium quality of manufactured sand that it provides, and the value unlocked in our sand and aggregate business.?

Due to its mobile nature, Combo X70 removes the requirement of bulky civil and structural work etc. and associated pain of long dismantling and reinstallation lead times. Companies with quarrying activities at different geographic locations can move the plant as per their requirement. With less than 7 days of commissioning time once arrived at site, Combo X70s? ultra rapid deployment feature augments to its mobility.

Combo X70 is the most power efficient clean energy machine, elevating the ?green? quotient of material washing business to a different level.
